About: Buying one of these was a total experiment…one that I didn’t think would really work. However, after the first few months of amazing successes, we upgraded to the solar panel to automate the watering…best thing we did! The panel sits on our roof and the stack on our deck. This provides our family enough lettuce and herbs for the majority of the year…and some of our neighbours too! It is virtually maintenance free and literally 2m from the kitchen! We are MrStacky converts!

About: My mr stacky journey started with caution, I have a history of killing off plants! I bought the 5 tier garden first… I grew all the salad for school lunches for a term for 2 children! After 1 week of working long hours, they dried out and I decided to leave it for next school term. But then… I decided to upgrade!! It arrived quickly! Best decision ever!! I bought the upgrade pack to change to the solar watering! What a game changer!

I have now started again and really look forward to not losing my garden over summer due to working long hours!

About: I have been enjoying my Tower Garden since February 2021, trying a variety of plants to determine what works best for me.

Lettuce – Mini Cos, Iceberg, Red & Green Oak Leaf grows the best and so fresh and crunchy. Other good results – Spring Onions, Chives, Red Sorrel, Coriander.
Tried Tomatoes but it just grew to big with not much fruit.
Also tried Baby Spinach, Sweet Basil & Rocket but the leaves all turn yellow, and Beetroot & Carrots with no success.
Overall I am very happy with Mr Stacky, just so easy to maintain, and we now have a constant supply of fresh veggies.
Question I have the the solar panel on the roof with the pump going 9-10 hours on a fine day, the planters are always very wet, could this be the problem with the Basil, Spinach & Rocket.

About: I have previous experience with hydroponic growing, but as I have now moved to a house with a very small outside area I wanted something to grow produce in a small space. The Mr Stacky tower fitted the bill perfectly!

I was surprised how vigorously everything grew. I am now giving produce away to my neighbours (especially beans!) as it is producing more than I can use!
Thankyou Mr Stacky for a great product!

About: This is my granddaughter with our first Mr Stacky hydroponic tower completely planted with a variety of strawberry plants that should give us fresh strawberries from late spring well into autumn. I must say once it was assembled and planted it is the most attention free growing solution I have ever encountered. I check it once a week to top up the water and add nutrients on the first day of the month. Living in Victoria and being in and out of lockdown, I had to mail order the plants and they were very stressed when I unpacked them. They recovered beautifully once planted and as you can see they are thriving.

About: Compare leeks planted in soil from the same punnet to those growing in Mr Stacky. The location is very close, same amount of sunshine.

About: Great system, amazed at how easy it is to grow in these. Have consistently outperformed my in ground beds. Best tip for new growers is to pay attention to plant sizes when sowing and prepare accordingly. Have been caught out a few times with plants becoming way bigger than I realised.

About: I’ve only had my Mr Stacky for a little under a month now but I’ve already sowed several seeds and found the little information leaflet that accompanied my purchase extremely helpful in deciding what to plant where – living in an apartment, we don’t have a huge amount of space so I’m super pleased with the size of this planter and how much I can fit into it!!

About: I’ve only just received and planted up. Evrntually I want to incorporate into aquaponics. Ive installed them on a pole so I can rotate them and allow planting under them maximising the space I have. This way the water runout benefits what’s growing beneath so no waste.

About: We have had our Mr Stacky for two years now, this season we have silverbeet, chives, tomato, oregano and strawberry’s. We love that we can change things up and everything we plant just grows! There’s something about walking out to the garden to pick our home grown fruit, veggies and herbs. It’s just wonderful! You can taste the difference in the flavours and experiment with your cooking. All thanks to Mr Stacky!

About: I choose Mr Stacky because they looked robust and well thought out. I have only just received mine so have just assembled and getting ready to transplant my strawberries from another garden tub into Mr Stacky. I love that I will be able to move it around on its wheels so that I can let all the plants have equal sun. and move to a sheltered spot if we have a big wind. Very near the coast and on top of a hill so this is important. I’m so looking forward to sending you a picture of my Mr Stacky when it is full of strawberries.

About: I love the simplicity of the stacky planter. It was easy to put together (just ask my 11 yr old daughter who did it for me!) and wheel around, even when it’s full of soil. I keep a watering can next to the stacky planter on my verandah and only need to water the top two layers a couple of times a day. I definitely recommend that if you’re planting seeds you plant them in the bottom 3 layers and then later transplant the seedlings to the top two layers. The direct watering each day of the top two layers was moving the seeds around and they weren’t sprouting. I’ve had great success with the above method though. Big thanks to Brian for such a simple yet effective way to grow fruits, veggies and flowers.

About: The tower has been perfect for me to grow veggies in a small footprint. Still in the process of trialling what works in it (especially in winter when there’s minimal direct sunlight), but silver beet and nasturtiums seem to be the happiest in the tower so far!
