Garden Fail # 38

Owner Name: Samuel
Location: Edensor Park, NSW

Water water everywhere and it is too much water for the garden. I’ve lost the enthusiasm in my garden with all the water flowing through it from next door. To reduce the amount of water flow I even dug a trench along the fence in the neighbors’ place to keep most of it away.
I couldn’t plant any winter crops as the ground was mud. Most of the spinach died and the rest didn’t do well. The beetroot didn’t do any better and the best is about a twenty cent coin. The flat climbing beans I planted last January ended up with a single runner the thickness of a piece of string and only managed to pick about a kilogram of beans. The fertilizer I used just got washed away with all the rain.
