We live in rented accommodation , now retired Here you see our “pallet” garden. There are many trees causing shade which inhibit our ability to grow vegetables especially over winter despite having a good lawn space. We resort mostly to trying to find pots or in this case a pallet to grow turnip, pak choy and celery. Its hasn’t gone well. Space and sunshine are restricted. We attempted a raised garden bed but it could not catch sufficient mid winter sunshine in ots fixed position As pensioners its very costly finding alternative, creatiive ways to garden.
