We’ve just built our new home on 2 acres, and we’re still coming to terms with how much outdoor work we have ahead of us to landscape our dream gardens on this steep block. I’ve included some pics of my husband whipper snipping and 15 year old son mowing while the youngest does laps on his motorbike at the bottom of the hill.\r\nAs a super keen gardener, I really missed my veggie patch whilst we were renting in the interim, and I had the best of intentions to start small once we moved in, but unfortunately it’s become a garden fail! Here are some photos of my raised garden bed collecting cobwebs, sports equipment and erm……rubbish. We also have some chillies, capsicum and parsley in punnets that never made it to the garden bed because I realised I didn’t have enough soil, nor a decent spot to set things up. They did wait patiently, but now they’re just trying to live their best life in less than ideal conditions under the BBQ table. Thankfully, they perked up with a good water after these pics were taken.\r\nIt might be a bit late for these particular plants to thrive, but we could definitely use a solution that requires minimal space, soil and precious tank water to grow beautiful produce again!
