Wallgarden is the original vertical garden system made in Australia. The planters are large and made form thick, strong recycled UV treated polypropelene that is made to last for 10+ years in the hot Australian sun and will not crack, fade or flex under the weight of water and soil. They are real quality & value.
Wall garden has 2 size options. Small and Large.
The Small kit comes with 10 x planters each holding approx 5 litres of medium. The small planters have an in-built clip at the back of each planter allowing you to clip into any mesh backing or wire bracket fixed into any wall. 10 modules cover 0.6 meters square.
The Large kit comes 5 x planters each holding approx 15 litres of medium. The large planters require fixing into 2 timber battons fixed into the wall. Each batton should be no less than 370mm apart and 65mm wide. Full instructions are included with the kit.
Each kit comes with the planters only, but includes detailed instructions with all necessary fittings which you can easily buy from any hardware store
SIMPLE DIY INSTALLATION
(Large Planters)
1. Use treated wood (or paint) approx. 20mm thick
and from 38 to 66mm wide.
2. Use appropriate fixtures to securely fix wood
upright to a load bearing wall or fence.
3. Attach wallgarden to uprights using 8 gauge
screws, position using keyholes on each unit.
4. Position modules at least 20mm apart
increase for taller plant varieties.
5. Bury root ball in wallgarden module
using high nutrient potting mix as you
would normally.
6. Move completed module into place.
The planters are proudly made in Australia from high quality BPA free polypropelene plastic which is treated with UV resistent polymers ensuring the plastic does not degrade in outdoor conditions. They’re rated for 10 years of use without cracking or fading.
Water by hand or fit a low pressure poly irrigation system.
Modules can be moved without disconnecting the irrigation system. Water is saved by each module feeding the next.
Monitor the amount of water for succeeding modules and add more irrigation if required.

When you run out of room in the average suburban garden what do you do? You grow up of course! Mr Stacky’s vertical garden system is the way to go. Love these things! We first bought one set with the solar pump kit and planted strawberries. No weeds, only have to fill the water vessel every 1.5 weeks, and the plants always look amazing. Strawberries are coming into their second crop now. Very exciting! We’ve recently purchased another 5 sets (one as a Christmas present for my bro) so we now have 5 set up. Tomatoes, carrots, cucumelons and kimanos (both grown from seed) are now on their way. Aaannd we want to buy more kits to fill the whole wall of our orchard 😂 Highly recommend!

These are great. I have a corrugated iron fence so the mesh is suspended from “S” hooks that fit over the fence. I like that I can easily shift the pots from sun to shade when I have to. My preference would be for not so much of a slant on the pots but still love them.

I bought 2 kits (20 pots in all) to plant strawberries. The pots are far and away the best I’ve seen for DIY vertical plantings. Most options I’ve seen are too small – not holding enough soil and would dry out in a flash here in the subtropics – especially when placed in the sun. The pots in the kits are deep enough for roots of many productive plants and each holds plenty of soil. I have hooked my pots onto a piece of rigid wire mesh (100mm square) which I attached between two posts in 5 mins with 4 screws. I love that you can control the spacing between the pots as strawberries don’t like to be cramped and do like good air flow. Will post photos to show progress soon.

I am in the process now of automating the watering system. The pots are extremely good quality and the pot size is terrific. So this is an initial review, i’ve just planted and everything looks great, but time will tell if it stays that way! I was given the wall garden as a gift and have wanted this type of garden for ages. The planters themselves are good quality, strong and sturdy and the instructions were very easy to follow. I have herbs, lettuce and spinach planted. I think I’ll set-up the water system next weekend. So far so good!

A good concept and design but a bit larger than I thought. I bought the small planters and use on a balcony so they appear very large. I set up the self watering but it drips onto the balcony, so put some pot plants at the base to catch some of the water. I also learned they aren’t the best for seeding plants . Buying plants and transplanting is the best method really….

Great for ferns. I purchased the large 10 module pack which covers a larger area than I expected. I had to go to bunnigns to pick up the wire mesh, but the instructions were very clear and it was easy to install. I have 20 multi-coloured ferns planted and can’t wait to see them fill out into a green wall. Recommend hooking the planter to the wall before installing the plant, as that’s easier than doing it with the heavy plant. The installation was a bit messy, left lots of soil on the ground, but that’s my fault! The size of the planters is great and colour also good. Great product, happy with purchase thanks!
